So we're up to day 3 in BJB studios with producer Scott Horscroft (The Presets, The Scare, Mess Hall, etc) mixing 5 new tracks for our EP to come out in August.
it's been very exciting so far, Scott has really taken the songs to a level previously unexperienced by us... the first day in the studio we finished producing the songs with Scott,
which involved re-tracking all the vocals, tracking some new guitar & synth parts, and coming up with other great ideas like handclaps & vocal melodies.
we also then went on to record live drums on all tracks to give them an extra push.
basically all that has to be done now is finish mixing the tracks, and then before you know it we'll have a brand new EP for you.
Being in the studio for the first time has been unexpectedly brilliant, the songs have developed more than we thought possible...much better than our $200 recording setup at home anyway and we are really looking forward to hearing them mixed and mastered.
